(A) Purpose: To work with the City of Jacksonville Risk Manager on safety regulations pertaining to City business. The committee will send the recommendations to the City Council through the Council Liaison associated with this committee.
(B) Composition and meeting frequency: One member who shall be appointed by the Mayor and is a City Council member acting as a liaison. Member shall coordinate meetings with the Risk Manager of the City based on the City-scheduled meetings. This committee may at times be inactive.
(C) Qualifications: A member of City Council appointed by the Mayor. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety related topics.
